Pricing FAQ

How does the per-member pricing work?
You pay one flat monthly subscription based on the tier you pick. There are no per-trainer fees, no per-transaction cuts and no charge for receipt printing. The member-count cap is the only thing that determines which tier you need.
Do I need a fingerprint scanner to use GymVx?
No. Fingerprint check-in is one of four supported attendance methods — you can run the gym entirely on member ID, manual or QR code check-in if you prefer. The scanner is a one-time hardware cost if you want it; we recommend the SecuGen Hamster Pro for the price-quality balance.
What hardware does the thermal receipt printer need?
Any 80mm thermal printer with a Windows driver. We test against Epson TM-T82, Xprinter XP-T80A and similar. Plug it into the front-desk PC, install the driver, and GymVx picks it up automatically.
What happens when the internet goes down?
Fingerprint matching keeps working — the SecuGen service runs locally on the front-desk PC. Check-ins queue up and sync the moment connectivity returns. Receipts also keep printing. The only thing you cannot do without internet is record new payments to the central database — but the queue means no data is lost.
Can I import members from my current Excel sheet?
Yes. During onboarding we run a one-time bulk import from your existing CSV / Excel — names, contact, plan dates, outstanding balances. We sanity-check the data with you before it hits production.
Is there a free trial or a contract?
We do a free onboarding call and a 14-day trial on real data so you can decide if it fits your gym. There is no annual contract — monthly billing, cancel any time, your data is exportable at any point.
How is multi-branch billed?
Each branch counts as a separate workspace under the Enterprise tier. The consolidated dashboard rolls up revenue, members and expenses across branches; per-branch teams only see their own data.
Where is my data stored?
Encrypted, in Oracle Cloud (Karachi region). Tenant data is isolated by tenant ID at the database level — your members never appear in another gym's queries, even hypothetically.
